Grooming Cohens is a queer family-run house-call grooming business serving North County San Diego since 2019. After nearly two decades in the grooming industry, we created the kind of experience we’d want for our own pets: professional, low-stress grooming care in the comfort of home.

Caitlin | Founder & Groomer

Caitlin has been grooming dogs and cats for over 17 years, with a special love for feline grooming and behavior-based handling. She’s known for her personable approach, practical grooming style, and ability to work with pets that need a little extra patience or understanding.

Today, Caitlin handles much of the client communication and scheduling support while continuing to groom full time. If you text the business number, there’s a good chance you’re talking to her.

Ashley | Groomer

Ashley has over 17 years of grooming experience and brings a steady, thoughtful approach to the pets she works with. Clients appreciate her consistency, gentle handling, and the reassuring presence she brings into the home.

If you’re messaging between appointments or communicating through our scheduling software, Ashley is often the one helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Ashley and Caitlin met grooming early in their careers and have worked together in the pet industry ever since. Together, they’re raising two young children in North County San Diego alongside their pug Morgana and cats Xanadu and Olivia.

Their approach to Grooming Cohens is shaped heavily by family life: keeping things personal, approachable, and built around real homes, real schedules, and pets as individuals — not just appointments on a calendar.
