What should I expect before my first appointment?
New clients complete a short intake form before booking so we can learn about your pet, grooming history, and home setup ahead of time.
Do you groom cats?
Yes — feline grooming is one of our specialties. Caitlin has over 17 years of cat grooming experience and works patiently at your cat’s comfort level to create the safest and lowest-stress experience possible.
Do you groom anxious, senior, or reactive pets?
Absolutely. Many of our clients seek out house-call grooming specifically because their pets feel more comfortable at home. We adjust pacing, handling, and grooming plans based on your pet’s individual needs and tolerance.

We intentionally keep our product selection simple, gentle, and safe for sensitive pets and skin.
Our shampoos and sprays are biodegradable, hypoallergenic, and safe for cats, dogs, puppies, and sensitive skin.

If your pet has allergies or skin sensitivities, we’re always happy to discuss product options before your appointment.
How often should my pet be groomed?
Most dogs benefit from grooming every 4–8 weeks to maintain coat condition, skin health, nail length, and comfort with the grooming process.
Cats typically follow a more personalized schedule based on coat type, shedding, age, and tolerance for grooming.
Consistent grooming appointments are usually less stressful for pets than infrequent, longer sessions.
Do you offer recurring appointments?
Yes — many of our clients choose to pre-book regular appointments to maintain a comfortable routine and reserve preferred scheduling times.
Routine appointments help create a more predictable, low-stress grooming experience for both pets and owners.
PRICING & SCHEDULING
Why does pricing vary?
Our pricing reflects one-on-one house-call care, travel time, coat condition, grooming needs, handling requirements, and the time needed to safely complete your pet’s groom.
Any additional charges are always discussed openly before services begin.
Do you charge based on haircut style?
No — we don’t believe in upselling based on haircut choice alone. Whether your pet needs a full haircut, de-shed, or maintenance trim, pricing is based more on time, coat condition, and handling needs than style selection.
What should I expect on appointment day?
Please allow for a one-hour arrival window to accommodate traffic, weather, and the needs of pets scheduled earlier in the day.
Most appointments take place comfortably within your home using your available bathing space and a calm one-on-one setup.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reminder texts are sent 48 hours before scheduled appointments.
Because house-call grooming requires route planning and reserved travel time, cancellations within 24 hours or repeated no-shows may result in cancellation fees or limited future booking availability.
We always appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule.
